Hello and thank you for stopping by.
Having escaped the confines of the city, I now live on a small farm on the beautiful South Coast of NSW with my partner and our three children.
Fresh open paddocks are our new backyard with plenty of space to run around. Our farm animal friends include horses, cows, hens, our neighbour’s sheep, a black cat named Shadow, a red Kelpie named Rosie and two nameless goldfish. We are also blessed with sharing the land with some of Australia’s most beautiful animals including kangaroos, wallabies, possums, bats, echidnas, reptiles including red belly black snakes, frogs and a variety of colourful and gregarious birds.
We now grow vegetables, make our own food, cleaners, compost, beauty products, preserve our excess produce and try to reduce, reuse, recycle and even up-cycle where we can.
This blog is a chance for me to record our experiences along the way, as we continue to embrace an alternative and rewarding lifestyle.
